Booking Policy
Reservations: To confirm your booking with Reef 2000 Dive Club, you must provide the following for each guest:
- Full name as it appears in Passport or ID
- Nationality, Passport number, and expiry date
- Dive certificate level and number of dives
Day Diving & Courses: Booking is only confirmed once payment is received. For groups of 6 or more, a 25% deposit may be required.
Late payment: If payment isn’t made before arrival, availability can’t be guaranteed and must be arranged and paid locally at standard rates plus taxes.
Additional Charges: Fees such as National Park, Port, and Chamber fees are paid locally. All listed services include service charges and taxes. Check our website for pricing details.
Surcharges: Reef 2000 Dive Club reserves the right to apply a surcharge in case of economic changes (fuel, exchange rates, etc.) with:
- Minimum 14 days’ notice before effective date
- No surcharge within 28 days of departure
- Full refund if surcharge exceeds 10%, if canceled within 14 days of notice
Cancellation Policy
Amendments or Cancellations: Must be emailed to reef2000dahab@gmail.com at least 72 hours before arrival. Later cancellations incur a 50% charge.
Special Equipment: Cancellations for special equipment (e.g., technical tanks) must be made 48 hours in advance. Late cancellation = 50% charge. Trimix tanks: 100% fee.
Course Refunds:
- Scuba Diver / Open Water: Refunds available only before Day 2. No refund after Day 1 tuition is completed.
- Discover Scuba Diving: Refund of 30% if canceled after confined water session.
Health Conditions: If you cancel due to illness with a doctor’s note, claims should be made through your insurance. Reef 2000 will assist with documentation.
No Show Fee: Full payment due if you do not show up or cancel by 4:00 PM the day before.
Travel Restrictions / Force Majeure: Full refund or credit if travel warnings or force majeure events prevent your trip.
Note: PADI digital course materials are non-refundable once issued.
General Terms
Scuba Review: Recommended if it’s been 6+ months since your last dive. Book in advance. A check dive is encouraged and includes:
- Mask removal and replacement
- Regulator recovery and clearing
- Alternate air source use
- Neutral buoyancy demonstration
Insurance: You must have comprehensive travel and dive insurance. Your insurance must include:
- Dive injury coverage (chamber, evacuation, equipment loss)
- Medical evacuation insurance
- Comprehensive travel insurance (cancellations, medical, luggage)
Without adequate insurance, Reef 2000 is not liable for any losses. Reef 2000 can help arrange insurance—contact us for pricing.
Itineraries & Dive Sites: Subject to weather and government changes. Safety is a priority. No refunds for missed dives due to conditions.
Diving for Qualified Divers: Guides provide briefings but no training. You and your buddy are responsible for dive planning and safety.
Other Water Activities: Non-diving activities (snorkeling, SUP, kayaking, etc.) are at your own risk. Inform staff when leaving the boat. Safety gear available.
Children:
- Under 12: Must be accompanied by parent/guardian at all times
- Under 15: Supervision required on board and during activities
Alcohol: Diving under the influence of alcohol is dangerous. Reef 2000 may deny access to diving if safety is at risk.
Behavior: Anti-social or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. You may be asked to leave the center if you disturb others.
Forms to Complete
Medicals: All diving guests must sign a PADI Diver Medical form. If you have medical conditions, bring signed clearance from a doctor. Reef 2000 can help arrange one locally if needed.
Liability Release: All guests must present valid certification and complete a waiver form. Contact reef2000dahab@gmail.com for a copy.
Your Consent
Proceeding with your booking means you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you withdraw consent, the agreement will be canceled and cancellation fees apply.
Should you procced with your booking but later withdraw your consent to accept our Terms and Conditions the related agreement will be
terminated as your consent and acceptance of our Terms and Conditions are precedent to us providing our services to you and cancellation charges
will apply as per these Terms and Condition
